Medvedev’s press secretary Timakova to resign, join VEB
MOSCOW, Sep 6 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s press secretary Natalya Timakova said Thursday she is going to resign and take a job at state-owned Vnesheconombank (VEB).
Konstantin Chuichenko, deputy prime minister and chief of the government staff, said that Timakova will be replaced by Oleg Osipov, first deputy editor-in-chief of Rossiya Segodnya international information agency.
Timakova said she made the decision already six months ago. “Next week we will work with Oleg together. I will hand over responsibilities to him, introduce him to the team, journalists,” she said. “At present, I’m finishing talks with VEB, which I’m going to join.”
